Government Harasses Amerithrax Suspect?
A lot of articles I've read are talking about how the government harassed Bruce Ivins and that led him to kill himself. Why didn't Steven Hatfill kill himself when he was presumably "harassed" at least as much? We got the right guy....
It's possible for an innocent person to kill themselves for any reason they want. My point is that pointing to his suicide and insinuating some kind of systemic government harassment policy capable of driving to suicide anyone unfortunate enough to be subjected to it is ridiculous. It is apparent not everyone buckled under it, even shady characters like Hatfill.
Of course if there was a conspiracy, and somehow Ivins knew about it, then it's a different story........ if....

ReplyDeleteBut, the fed gov does not press charges unless they really do have the evidence to back it up. So yea, I would say they prolly got the right guy.
